Magic Lost, Trouble Found is one of five finalists for the Compton Crook Award for the debut science fiction/fantasy author judged to have written the best novel for the previous year. The award is voted on by members of the Baltimore Science Fiction Society and will be awarded at their annual convention (Balticon) on Memorial Day weekend. Lisa Shearin is thrilled and honored to be included in such great company:
